Overview

Find My Market integrates with HubSpot to enhance your personalized marketing and sales efforts. By connecting your HubSpot CRM, you can leverage AI-powered persona creation, market intelligence, and content generation — all informed by your existing CRM data.

With the integration, users can:

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure you have the following:

  • An active Find My Market account (sign up here if you don't have one).
  • A HubSpot account with Super Admin or App Marketplace access permissions.
  • It is recommended to turn off ad blockers in your browser before starting the installation.
  
Chapter III

Install the App

Follow these steps to connect your HubSpot account to Find My Market.

Connect to HubSpot

Log in to your Find My Market account at app.findmymarket.com. Navigate to Settings›Integrations›CRM and click the HubSpot card.

Click the Connect HubSpot button. You will be redirected to HubSpot's login page.

Log In to HubSpot

Enter your HubSpot credentials to log in. Use the same email and password you normally use for HubSpot. There are no extra logins to manage — Find My Market authenticates through HubSpot directly.

Select Your HubSpot Account

If you have access to multiple HubSpot accounts, select the account you want to connect to Find My Market. If you only have one account, this step will be skipped automatically.

Confirm Permissions

Review the requested permissions on the OAuth consent screen. Find My Market requests access to:

  • Read and write contacts — to sync persona insights with your contact records.

  • Read and write companies — to map market intelligence to your company records.

  • Read contact and company properties — to auto-map CRM fields for persona creation.

Click Connect app to authorize Find My Market.

Connection Confirmed

After authorization, you will be redirected back to the Find My Market Integrations page. A green "Connected" badge will appear on the HubSpot card, confirming a successful connection. New configuration options will now be available.

Configure the App

Once connected, configure how Find My Market interacts with your HubSpot data.

CRM Field Mapping

Map CRM Fields

Navigate to Settings › Integrations › HubSpot › Field Mapping in your Find My Market account.

Map your HubSpot contact and company properties to the corresponding Find My Market persona fields. Key fields include:

  • Contact properties — job title, industry, lifecycle stage, country/region.

  • Company properties — company size, annual revenue, industry, and domain.

Find My Market will auto-suggest mappings for standard HubSpot properties. You can adjust or add custom property mappings as needed.

Set Sync Preferences

Choose your data sync direction:

  • One-way (Find My Market → HubSpot) — persona tags and insights are pushed to HubSpot contact/company records as custom properties.

  • Two-way — changes in HubSpot records (e.g., updated lifecycle stages or industry fields) are also reflected in your Find My Market persona data.

Click Save Configuration when complete.

Configure Persona Defaults

Navigate to Settings › Persona Preferences to set your defaults:

  • Default target market — select the country and industry you want personas to focus on.

  • Storytelling formula — choose the proven storytelling framework matched to your industry.

  • Customer journey stages — configure the stages (Awareness, Consideration, Decision) and the content channels for each.

Use the App

Once installed and configured, here's how your team can use Find My Market with HubSpot.

Benchmark & Competition Analysis

Use the MI Agent to benchmark market leaders or competitors in your target market. Access Benchmark to see how competitors perform online, and use Competition to directly compare your website against a competitor by analyzing audience demographics, search intent, and engagement.

Keyword Intelligence

Navigate to Keyword Intelligence to identify important keywords by checking their popularity and identifying your main competitors in your target market. Insights can be used to inform your HubSpot content strategy and SEO efforts.

AI-Powered Persona Creation

From the Find My Market dashboard, go to Personas and click Create New Persona. Choose "Create by AI" and enter a website URL. The Persona Agent will analyze the site and generate a full persona with demographics, behaviors, and motivations — linked to the matching segments in your HubSpot CRM.

Manual Persona Creation

Alternatively, choose "Create at Your Own" to build a detailed profile of your target audience based on your own assumptions and understanding. Fill in demographics, pain points, goals, and preferred channels. The persona will be synced to your HubSpot account as custom properties.

Manage and Share Personas

Use the Manage Personas view to edit, delete, share, or download any persona as a PDF. Personas tagged to HubSpot contacts will appear as custom properties on the contact's record within HubSpot.

Chapter VI

Disconnect the App

Important: If you disconnect your HubSpot account from Find My Market, persona data will no longer sync between the two platforms. Custom properties previously written to your HubSpot records will remain on those records, but no new updates will be pushed.

To disconnect HubSpot from Find My Market:

  1. Log in to your Find My Market account.

  2. Navigate to Settings › Integrations › HubSpot.

  3. Click the Disconnect button on the HubSpot integration card.

  4. In the confirmation dialog, click "Yes, disconnect" to confirm.

After disconnecting, you can reconnect at any time by repeating the installation steps above.

Uninstall the App

Data impact: Uninstalling Find My Market from HubSpot will permanently remove the connection. Any custom properties and persona tags written to your HubSpot records will persist, but no further syncing or updates will occur. Your personas and market intelligence data will remain accessible in your Find My Market account.

To uninstall Find My Market from your HubSpot account:

  1. In your HubSpot account, click the Settings gear icon in the top navigation bar.

  2. In the left sidebar, navigate to Integrations › Connected Apps.

  3. Find Find My Market in your list of connected apps.

  4. Click Actions, then select Uninstall.

  5. In the confirmation dialog, type uninstall in the text field and click Uninstall.

Note: If you have an active Find My Market subscription, uninstalling from HubSpot does not cancel your subscription. Please contact us at findmymarket.com/contact if you also wish to cancel your Find My Market account.
